Ellen Bohn is a passionate and proficient writer from the American Midwest. Her work tends to be in black comedy, horror, and magic realism. She began writing fiction around her 5th birthday. Today, she leans heavily towards poetry, but novels are still a fundamental part of her craft. She regularly writes freeform poetry about the nature of evil, her journey through severe polysubstance abuse, spiritual revelations, lots of questions for God, and a good deal of complaining about being forced to exist.
She has one incomplete degree in Philosophy and another in History. She has written 9 novels, countless poetry anthologies (with three in print), over 100 children's books, and one memoir. She recently began a thesis-to-book project regarding significant changes in the way humans have experienced God throughout history. She's also working on a horror novel about a post-zombie apocalypse vigilante named Binky Bleau, who must defend her town from zombie city councilmen, a band of cursed pirates turned drug smugglers, a coven of Satan worshippers, and an emotionally unstable gay man named Cliff.
Ellen can be hired to do any type of editing. She is also available for creative writing or marketing jobs. (It's worth noting her superhuman turnaround speeds.) Just follow the link to her Upwork, or reach out via email.
